'Community Storytelling' – Celebrating the history of Brockholes

Project Focus Figment ran 2 days of community storytelling events in Brockholes in August 2006 including a pub quiz. Focusing around a celebration of the history the village we used stories, photographs, maps and memories of the local community to develop drama and arts activities. We will be running projects up to celebrations on St George’s Day 2007 in phase 2 of the project. Come and get involved! Target group	All Brockholes community members. There will be opportunities for children, young people, adults and the elderly.
Format	- Residential sessions in Brockholes village hall - Drama, storytelling, banner making and samba drumming sessions in local churches and village hall during 21-26 Aug 2006
